We’ve officially hit rock bottom when there are serious conversations for a coach who had an abysmal track record against top 10 teams at Penn State.

I don't understand the Franklin hate. He's a guy who is gonna get you 8-9 wins and be ready to fight for 10-11. Every fan wants a ready made Saban, but if one existed, he wouldn't be available to hire.

If LSU fans aren't happy with Brian Kelly, then Auburn fans won't be happy with James Franklin. Kelly is a better coach and CEO than Franklin is.

Y'all can talk shite about Franklin all y'all want, but We (Auburn) wish we had Penn State problems, right now.
i don't think you have to worry about it, though. At no point have Auburn PTB proven they're competent enough to hire a coach like Franklin.

The problem is Auburn thinks they are too good for James Franklin. They think they are an elite program because they claimed 48 national championships.

I quit being surprised after Chizik. The level of incompetency used to baffle me. Now, I expect it.
