It’s toward the end (11:39), but he claims he was saying “they were clapping” despite the video clearly showing he was calling a time out.. and he just doubled down.
eta: imo I do believe he said “they were clapping” but imo he also called a timeout, then lied to get the timeout back.

Not really. The dude flat out lied when there’s video evidence showing that he lied. It’s a bad fricking look.
The other side of the coin is that you want a coach who’s willing to do whatever it takes to win, and maybe that’s why Kirby is Kirby.. and maybe that’s why the best coaches are the best coaches.. they push the boundaries and do whatever they can..
So I do understand that argument.. but it’s like someone committing a crime, then saying no, I didn’t do that, I was at home watching TV.. even though there are video cameras everywhere these days.. it just wasn’t a real smart thing to do.. and now he’s kind of pushed into a corner because he lied about it in press conference..
Things like this can actually derail someone’s career when it should’ve been a nothing burger.. he lied about something he didn’t have to lie about..

No he didn’t. He let the refs get it wrong. But he didn’t do anything wrong
