Hearing 5 Million and I assume I now have to buy another ticket on top of my Season Tickets. I hate the new mini-NFL.

on the face of it, this seems very short sighted.

the entire neutral site experience is so hollow. i cant believe schools are still teetering on it being a thing or not.

Pretty certain Ags will buy your home game next year and we can play at Kyle Field again. Add that to your NIL coffers.

Atlanta isn't that far from Auburn anyway.

It isn't good for the local economy in Auburn and Opelika, plus this pulls the tailgating experience from campus.

Transparent and desperate attempt to finally play a game in Atlanta.

No, but we have a compulsion to monetize everything.

I expect we will switch fight song to whatever anyone is willing to pay.

In a decade, our uniforms will look more like NASCAR jumpsuits.

Every down and distance and action of a play will be corporately sponsored.

“Johnson at left guard on The Intel Inside Zone. The play gains 2 yards.”

“Exxon second down with 8 Starbucks coffee yards to go.”

I want to see a rebellion by colleges against NIL and NFL-ization. And I wish Auburn would join it.

Eliminate all athletic scholarships and compensation deals for players. If you want to play for your school, enroll as a regular student, and good luck at Spring tryouts. These colleges could form a “Real College “ system of conferences, and inherit the bowl game system as a reward for a good season. Let the pro-league wannabes have the playoffs. Give us real college football based on real school spirit again.

Auburn's road schedule looks pretty brutal in 2026

Understand why Auburn wanted that paycheck, but that sucks for local businesses.

I would guess half the conference only has 6 home games next year.

Atlanta is New York City compared to little old Auburn. It's no home field advantage
