Not a knock on either one as both have strong defenses, but the top 2 both played Aubie at home. Is AU a victim of playing great defenses, or do these defensibpve stats get skewed by playing a bad AU offense?

OU played a good Michigan offense.

Didn't realize Michigan's offense is "good."

Michigan is a lot of things, but “good offense” isn’t one of them.

Does that include ND? If so, that is impressive

It does if ND recently joined the SEC. I may have missed it.

In the act of thoroughness. Team Defense overall ppg allowed

UF D avg 17 ppg
A&M D avg 21 ppg

Texas D 12 ppg respectfully

A&M defense also face up two trash touchdowns so they have some work to do

Your list is total points scored by SEC opponents? What the heck. Try this angle instead - all games played. Conference play has barely even gotten started.

OU gives up 7.2 points a game on defense.

Aggies give up 21 points a game on defense.

You let UTSA score 24 on you at home.

Michigan is a lot of things

Things such as scoring 32.8 points per game on offense.

Things such as being 4-1 right now.

Frustrating considering how well they played to start both conference games.

I was told repeatedly that horns had a top 5 defense.

It's early, but this IS ironic in that A&M was LAST in this category (pts alliwed) prior to conference play.

lotsa football left.
