that this team is really talented and they are not
Go watch how Miami just bulled them along the lines of scrimmage
The receivers can’t get open maybe that actually is more scheme than talent still it’s not like they are like Ohio state out there
I don’t think Billy is actually good at anything he recruits on par with Dan Mullen which is what the uaa will allow for

Florida's entire history can be condensed from 1990-2008. That's the only time they've been relevant.

The team is talented. As a whole it is probably the most talented in over a decade. The defensive line has been fine, so I’m not sure what you’re seeing. Three DL were out for the Miami game, but the new guys eventually settled in. The offensive line has been pretty good too, if disappointing compared to expectations. It’s usually the same guy fricking everything up. But when your quarterback that ranked #1 nationally in deep throw accuracy last year can no longer throw it over 10 yards, that changes things. Defenses have started playing him how they did Graham Mertz. Without stretching the defense vertically, they snuff out all these short horizontal passes for 2-3 yard gains. Offensive lineman can no longer make holes for the running game as the secondary looks to come up and make plays. If they still respected Lagway’s arm the offense would work. Everything hinged on that.

The problem is that Napier has never made an adjustment in his life. If things don’t work the first ten times, do the same on drive #11 because he’s got a good feeling about it this time. He is the anti-Mullen in almost every way. What was it, 0 for 15 on third downs against Miami? It’s pathetic. I think witnessing the futility of Napier’s play calling is demoralizing enough to eventually mentally break the defense too. We’ve seen bits of that in games, but maybe we’ll see when it permanently happens. It won’t mean they aren’t talented though.

Agreed, a good coach could win many more games with this talent. Not a title, but 10-11 wins after bowls.

FSU, Miami, and Florida arose after the 80's...very, very, very easy to see why. AC became affordable and people moved here. Not that hard to get.

Well, six against Texas. I don’t know if that’s good. Hopefully someone who knows ball will come along and can tell me.

Players aren’t the problem with this squad. Recruiting and even development outside of the qb position isn’t the problem. The closer you get to Napier, the closer you are to the problem. If only he weren’t the qb coach, offensive play caller, and head coach.

Napier just needs two more years to get his players in and he’ll be challenging for a spot in the CFP most every year.

No jorts fan here, but I said yesterday before the game I’ve watched Lagway enough to know he can figure things out at any time.

But, hey, I am headed to Disney next month. So…

We aren't firing Napier any time soon.

The sooner you accept that the better off you'll be.

If we somehow upset A&M things would get interesting with Napier but he is 0-10 at UF against winning record teams that season in road games.

Long Island only threw the ball 13 times and only 1 of those was anything more than a quick pass. No sacks but they really didn't have any opportunities against them
