We had some bad play calls, we had some guys who got out of their gaps, but when it MATTERED MOST...they stood up and made plays!

Phenomenal performance in my eyes after FACING ADVERSITY.

These elite ball knowers don't have to give them CREDIT but I am!

Our pass defense is probably the best in the country. I think guys are just used to seeing the opposite so its weird. We only gave up like 120 passing yards.

Womack has some issues and needs to look at how he emphasizes run defense. But we are not great along the DL and that’s largely because of Saban’s recruiting there, but injuries are also killing us. We’ve got to probably get some more guys ready to play. Maybe big Steve can play a couple snaps here and there.

Why would you pass against this team? Every team with a pulse has gashed us.

How about UGA’s last drive I look up and we’ve got Kirkpatrick, Morgan, Lee, and I think even Justin Hill on the field.

We have faced the least pass attempts against like in the country.

Because they get gashed on the ground

The DL stepped up after Snith got ejected. That seemed like a bullshite targeting penalty. But those backups played hard.

See this is how I know people don't really pay attention.

It has nothing to do with recruiting. We have guys LEAVING their GAPS because their eyes are elsewhere and we are FAILING to set the edge.

Lawson
Jefferson
Domani (who was terrible)
Renaud
Sabb (who was terrible)

If these guys play their gaps properly or set the edge... Georgia don't break those big runs.

I just named a few.

Nothing? Really?

I’ve conceded that we don’t coach run defense well enough but if you’re going to act like our DL talent is where it needs to be, I don’t know what to tell you.

You can downvote this to Hell and back but it's the truth. Everyone is on the high of a win this week. We get Vandy next week. Pavia gonna run all over us. The offense has to lead this team for the remainder of the year.

We don't have the horses to stop the run or to get to the QB without a safety blitz. Our best edge rusher are our DBs (i.e. Bray Hubbard).

Glad to hear this. They should have felt shafted by that call.

Nah our defense was soft as baby shite. Our guys were not conditioned well and were getting pushed around the field. Can’t remember when I have seen our defense manhandled like that.
The scheme we are running frequently has guys out of position and unable to make plays. Wommack isn’t the answer. We need a good DC and an overhaul of the strength and conditioning program.

Why is Domani out of position most of the time. He had a bad game.

You probably one of the same ones who thought Georgia was gone win!

Matter of fact go hop on Vandy's BANDWAGON.

Quick question...why did Georgia struggle running in the fourth quarter? Lol

Give a dog his due. That forth down stop in the red zone? Kid barely got a hand on him but it was enough.

I don’t know how many “shots on goal” we could take. Felt like we needed points. Nope. Defense bowed up!

He's not off the hook. Dude is still arse and needs to go. He will be what holds everything back at some point. The offense is in good hands. I think DeBoer will make the change at the end of the season.

Womack’s defense gave up 227 yards on the ground. That won’t cut it. We still can’t set an edge and get gashed on the outside. Receivers run free when they go deep. Pressure on Stockton was nonexistent. Alabama won that game in spite of Womack, not because of his defense. They were fortunate and UGA didn’t play very smart at the end of the game.
I can’t stand this scheme and have said from day 1 it will not work in the SEC. We have complained about it almost every game. Womack has to go. The defense can and must be better.
