People keep telling me how great of a QB he is. Why doesn't he just go pro and stop making a mockery of what football is versus what it used to be.

Pavia must be trying to get his doctorate

because he probably can earn more money in NIL than he can in the NFL. I hate what college football has become, but honestly can't blame him for trying what he's doing.

If he was certain that he could play at the next level, he wouldn’t be doing this.

He’s going to make me actively pull against him and Vandy with this shite.

He has zero chance of ever making an NFL roster. It's a shame that college football has become a career path for some of these guys. Grow up and let the kids play.

This is like Zakai Ziegler trying to get another year. At some point you gotta let go of the ghost. Either hit the CFL or go be a practice squad journeyman in the NFL in the hopes you get a shot at some point.

I don't like it but it's his only way to make a lot of money. He's not an NFL QB, buts he's a damn good college one.

Diego now turning into the villain.

He's too mouthy....move on bro.

This will set a precedent that will destroy college football.

He will have grey hairs on his head when he goes pro

The NFL isn't going to be swayed by his leadership.
They are focused on athletic ability and won't be giving Diego a legitimate shot, so his best path would be to attempt to keep getting paid by Vanderbilt, continue getting media attention and continue his underdog story as long as he can.
Obviously, I'm ok with it.

Some really good RB's and WR's were QBs once in their career. I imagine it helps them better understand the overall offense.
Really wondering about this, and whether or not he'd even consider it.

College football is no longer the game we loved. I think we should go complete mockery. Players can play for unlimited time and do not have to be enrolled. Transfer even during the season. After all…the bleeding hearts that think college athletes were abused in the past and wear judges robes should rule anything less as a violation of one’s rights

Because this is the most well paid he’ll likely ever be in his lifetime and he’s trying to maximize that. Can’t blame him for it.

The only QBs who can transition to other position in the NFL have size/speed to be attractive to teams.
Pavia is not that big and won't run a good time in the 40. He won't even get a camp invite.
