Did Hugh Freeze make a good call by not snagging Salter and Juju Lewis?

Don’t know if anyone was paying attention, but Colorado lost to Houston last night and dropped to 1-2. Neither of the 2 aforementioned QBs played for Colorado last night. Both were on the bench.

Idk but I wonder if they could have done more with a real coach

Auburn made a good call not hiring Prime. Member this board wanting him

That's a difficult question. TAMU let Haynes King walk because he "sucked." He turned into a really efficient QB and Reed can't complete a forward pass. QBs are hard to project.

Salter getting bunched for that Staub guy should be a fireable offense. That guy was dogshit as a QB. JuJu still has a bright future, but he has to get out of there and stop letting his dad dictate where he plays football, because his dad is only interested in a check.
We we're right to not bring in Salter, Arnold is better, but Juju is still good.

Nobody is better at picking QBs than NFL organizations. And they miss more than half the time.
There is no way to consistently pick who can play QB. The best you can do is have a few and play the best you have. But that is tough to do in the age of the unlimited portal.

Did Hugh "make a decision" not to get Juju or did juju decide not to come to Auburn?
I cant remember

We wanted him and he was supposed to commit a few times, but kept dragging it out. I believe his dad was asking for more money. Then we moved on and he had to take the best of what was left out there since they waited so late so and many other schools had QBs. He should have stuck with RIley and USC if he wasn't coming here, but he dad has micromanaged him into a bad situation.

Bro....our HC just needs to win 6 and that will be a step in the right direction at Auburn.

As of September 13, 2025 Sanders has had a much more successful tenure at Colorado than Hugh has at Auburn. Hopefully that will change soon.

Whoever is running the show at Indianapolis is a fricking imbecile for picking Anthony Richardson 4th overall

Hard to compare the 2 situations
Getting to bowl eligible in the Pac-12 is as easy as correctly filling out your name on the SAT

How do auburn and Colorado compare historically? Which has proven to be easier to win at?

We won’t know the answer to this unless Arnold goes down. I think Salter is definitely better than the kid from Stanford. I think Deuce has way more upside than Juju, but who would be more ready to step in immediately if needed?

So what? The kid from Stanford came here knowing that he was coming to close out his career in a backup role. There was zero expectation or likelihood that he would somehow be named starter over Arnold except for a season ending injury to Arnold. Salter obviously wasn't coming here to be Arnold's backup, nor was there any realistic scenario where Auburn was going to take multiple QB's who expected to be starters and have them "battle it out" for the starting job because this isn't how the transfer portal works.
So what idiotic point are you trying to make? Salter and the kid from Stanford are not interconnected in any way at all. It wasn't a choice of one or the other.

all this is true.
JA has been very very good so far. So why do we care who anyone else has
