They increased the fine to $500,000 this year. Thankfully for LSU, our game is in Oxford this year.

At the moment, yes. We have the ceiling to improve, but we aren’t there yet to make me think otherwise.

Where does the money go against a non-con opponent? I know the fine goes to the opposing school in conference games.

I think Lebby’s offenses, and subsequently, teams will get better the longer he has his system in place. Art Briles and Heupel aren’t the worst guys in the world to learn offense from.

I thought that policy and fine only applied to conference games.

Oh for sure. Ole miss fans love Lebby except for what Shirt he wears now. His biggest problem is can MSU keep up with the current in IL landscape. This win should help bring some money out, but is it sustainable.

And if he can field a good to great defense while he’s at State. His offenses should be fine if he gets excitement around the program and brings in a few studs there.

I think with the $20M payroll, the extra NIL will kinda be optional. At least I hope so.

If I was an AD I would increase every ticket by one dollar, which would be the price for a post game field pass. I would love to see how the SEC could enforce this fine when 50k fans have paid for authorization to be on the field post game.

C'mon. It's Srate. Hell, the SEC ought to GIVE the Dogs half a million just for not embarrassing the conference.

Where does the money go? Into somebody’s pockets. Should be sent to an outside firm and distributed to select charities and well documented. May I suggest Danny Thomas Hospital, Tunnels to Towers and Shriners Hospitals.
