Actually he wasn’t the Heisman front runner before wk1 , wk2, or wk3.

Mateer then Nuss on DK right now. I would not put Nuss anywhere near the top right now. He’s done nothing whatsoever in the first two games to warrant that.

Vegas can think what they want. But from what I’ve seen through 2 weeks, he isn’t a Heisman. Heisman QB’s have a gear that Nuss hasn’t proven to show yet (See Burrow, Daniels). He needs to take a game by the balls, he’s been playing “not to lose” football through 2 weeks. That may be exactly what BK is asking him to do.

Game managers throw 40 times a game if the OC runs a version of the air raid and half those pass attempts are basically runs plays.
Nuss is a game manager at this point (regardless of pass attempts). He hasn’t shown to have “the it” factor. I would love to be wrong.

Good News is all he has to do is stay away from stupid mistakes and we’ll make the playoffs. But he was an average QB last year, good stats but mistakes that cost us at least 2 games that should’ve been in the bag and almost 2 more. He isn’t any different this year. Not incredibly accurate and won’t run for 5-7 yards to move the chains.
No one expected him or anyone to be JD but he’s as fast if not faster than Burrow and Burrow was a pro with that. Nuss won’t even try.
