Wow, its been a long road since Bob retired and watching LR blow the Rose Bowl and then spiral down hill. Then the ground up rebuild, year 4 now in progress.

Game was more lopsided than score because of the special teams. But damn, we were more physical on both sides of the ball. Its been years since that was true, at least a decade.

Mateer is such a baller. And I loved his post game interview, very humble and respectful.

The defense though! Wow, BV has them cooking. Michigan is a very physical team and we worked them over all night long.

Offense is back again. I love Kanak. He was a highly recruited LB and wanted to play for Brent. Whatever reason it didn’t work oit and he converted to TE. Had a key block on TD. Can catch and chip. And lead block.

Tory Blaylock is a running back. Love his toughness. NFL dad, taught him well.

Its great to have receivers after going receiverless last year pretty much.

We had over 75 recruits in the Palace tonight. Should be fruitful.

I’m just glad to be competitive again. Still have us at 9-3 but this game sure gave me hope for a fun year.

And frick those crooked B10 refs. SEC needs to pay them back next year when we go to Ann Arbor.

You beat a team that's about to go 6-6 or 7-5 at best, calm down.

We did to a B10 blueblood what texas couldn’t, so you shut the frick up until Archie boy wins a big game.

I’m not talking down on the W. I’d honestly prefer that OU walks into Dallas undefeated. It’s just a bold thread considering what Michigan was last year and that it’s only week 2.

I’m not sure you’re back just yet, but that’s a solid win and I think Oklahoma has a good team. Let’s wait and see how Oklahoma handles their SEC schedule before you start this “we back” stuff

Mateer might just be my favorite non LSU player in the conference. Love everything about him.

I literally said I still have us going 9-3. But the back means thats the best we looked since before Bob retired. Meaning both sides of LOS. Riley was all O. We finally have some fight again. We’ll still lose some games but we’re back on the hunt compared to where we’ve been.

The Oklahoma defense was as advertised.

Mateer did everything we hoped he would.

So long as he is healthy the offense clicks.

About those special teams . . .

I agree we are back…..didn’t play our best game and soundly beat the #15 ranked team….and physically whipped them…

It wasn’t that OU won it’s how they dominated the whole game . Turnovers and penalties kept the game from
being a blowout . OU had 100 percent control all game . Say what you want I don’t see many sec teams scheduling Michigan wk 2 .

Bro, it’s better if we just take the win and be quiet. Fly under the radar. Quit showboating.

This isn’t Texas. We don’t claim being back after one statement win, there’s a long way to go. I’ll be impressed when we are undefeated going into RRS
