My prediction for the next two seasons with CKD

I think CKD will eke out a 6-6 or 7-5 record this year. The buyout is still too high to can him at that point. He'll be given the ultimatum that he will have to fire some coaches or he'll be let go.
He'll grudgingly let Wommack go even though he has demonstrated he's clearly in over his head.
He'll let Freddie Roach and Chris Kapilovic both go because they simply cannot develop talent. Their units simply have not improved.
To replace Wommack, if he's smart, he'll go after these DCs. They won't be cheap but times are desperate-
Phil Parker-DC at Iowa. Highly respected long time DC at Iowa who has worked miracles for many years there. Very sharp, sound, hard nosed style of defense.
Morgan Scalley-DC at Utah. His defenses play hard and are sound. Might be a tough pull since he's a Utah alum.
Vince Kehres-DC at Toledo. Guy has been a winner his entire career. Very underrated DC.
Even if CKD does all this, his coaching seat will be molten magma hot and anything less than ten wins and he'll be fired. Period. Can he turn things around? I'm not confident but time will tell.
On the other hand, if he goes 3-9 this year, all bets are off. I believe the boosters will scrape together the money. A couple of interesting facts though. The buyout isn't paid all at once. It's paid monthly through 2031. That makes it a bit less painful.
Second, CKD has not moved his family to Alabama. Is he expecting to be fired and thus saving himself the hassle of having to move? I thought that was weird.

Knowing our luck, he'll go 6–6 this year, then pull some voodoo chicken shite blood ritual that gets him to 11–1 next year. Byrne will give him a raise and award him a $250 million buyout, rename the quad after him and then DeBoer will follow up by shitting out a 3–9 season while we pay him more than the GDP of a small country to frick us in the dick hole.

If he can get to 10+ wins, ill have much more confidence. Hes proven he can win...just not at a situation like Bama.

This may be your personal luck but this is definitely not the luck of the University of Alabama when it comes to college football

We won't be going 6-6 anytime soon.

I'm good with this happening because it would free up a lot of saturdays to work on my early Bronco restoration project.

I hadn't read this. Where was it reported?

It wasn't, because it's not true.
While one of his daughters (Alexis) plays softball at the University of Washington, his other daughter (Avery) plays volleyball for Northridge High School. That's an awfully long commute for Avery if the she's not living in Tuscaloosa.

Aaron Torres channel on You Tube mentioned that he hadn't moved his family. If he has, great. I'm not losing sleep over it.

No. He was reading a comment from the comment section on YouTube.
And the buyout is 10.mil a year through 2031, not a lump sum.

I believe CKB and Grubb can produce a really good offense eventually. They need better offensive linemen (smaller and faster) for their philosophy. He needs a killer for DC. If reports about the grub hub party are true, he needs a new team manager that has the ability to punish players. Clinton Dix may be a candidate as he is intimately familiar with the Bama Standard. The Courtney dude may be one of DeBoer's biggest problems.

Courtney…. Morgan? Probably the only guy on DeBoer’s staff that is elite at their job.
Ha Ha CD is already on the staff dealing in personnel / player development in some capacity, and these guys couldn’t be further from the “Bama Standard” (not saying that is Ha Ha’s fault at all). If we’re gonna bring in a disciplinarian, I want McCarron in that role.
