A pretty good tribute to some of the best moments in WM history since this could be the last year playing there. I'm in the camp that it's probably time to pull out of there but there's no denying that place has seen some big moments in Hog football history and really rocked during those big moments.

And it's only fitting that it ends with CMFBP and Mallett upsetting the Tigers.

I didn’t make a lot of big games, but my favorite was Gamecocks Hogs on a Thursday night game. Took off early. When I turned in from Markham, someone had a sign that said, “Lou brought the cocks, but we got the Nutt”

My first game there was rather inauspicious. Joe Ferguson was our QB, and we lost to Rice in a huge upset.
Along the way I saw many big victories, though.
Beating aTm when they were ranked 1st, IIRC.
Whipping Texas there, 31-7, I think was final score.
Beating Hal Mummes best Kentucky team at a stadium that then assistant KY coach Mike Leach said was the loudest he'd ever heard.
Both miracles on Markham, I and II.
The Mallet to Hamilton half ending touchdown pass.
And let's not forget Jennings Osborne's BBQ feast $5.00 tray that would feed you for a week.
Great times! And not a bad seat in the house.

He passed away in 2023 at the age of 71.

I remember that catch, great win.

1979 win over Texas was my first game to attend. The crowd went nuts the whole game. Afterwards, right there in the stands, a good ole boy gave me, a high school kid, a half pint of whiskey.

My first game was Grovey vs Ware and it did not disappoint. I also learned that day that a female booty was pleading to me.

It's always a good day when they're "pleading" to ya.

My favorite game was the last swc game against texas. Not a particularly great game other than winning, but it was the first game I was able to take my son to. It was what happened after the game that was the most memorable, we couldn’t leave if we wanted to because the exits were blocked and no one was leaving, it was loud and the team finally ran back on the field and it really got loud then.

My son, bless his heart, was hooked on the Hogs after that.

I think my first ever game to attend was at WMS against ULM in 2012 with Coach Johnelle.

Great times

Well…I meant…they left the catch that Teddy Barnes made out of that video…probably the second most electric moment ever in that stadium.

I was 15 at the time, we were playing LSU. Matt Jones had the ball late, can't recall a whole lot other than there was still bottled water available and the scoreboard was working.

Good crowd today and the team did what they were supposed to for a change. Great way to end tradition.

I noticed the university paid for fresh paint and the miracle banners, you know LR didn't kick in any thing for this.

So the traditional was kept.

Oh and frick HY for giving Memphis that home game we have "owed" them for 25 yearsbin the same season he gives the game stAte has been "owed".

And we dropped them from the return trip next season. Due to new SEC schedule requirements is what they said

I think I saw they scooted out when Memphis would come back for the return game in Fayetteville to 2030.
