i don't get it.

- Young QB with sky high ceiling
- Good RB paired with one of the best OL units in the conference
- Salty defense
And most importantly
- A large fan base desperate to be relevant again to give these pundits clicks.

And also with OU by several mouth breather media types. (Pardon my redundancy.)

Both are LSU opponents.

There are going to be several very disappointed SEC fanbases this year. Something's gotta give.

Because they're going to be good. That's why.

Having a good QB makes up for a bunch of difficiencies. Think LSU with J. Daniels. Our defense was the worst in school history, but somehow we still won a ton of games and produced a Heisman out of it.

UF will have a very good team this year. That schedule is brutal though.

Yeah I guess we shall see, but it feels to me this may be Napier’s last year. I don’t think Florida will be very good.

He walked into a shitshow right as all of the NIL/portal bullshite began. Showed some promise in the second half of last year. This is a pivotal year for him no doubt, but I don't think that he is as bad as he seems.

Was there some scandal or is this just "cuck" in the modern parlance (ie someone I don't like)?

I have no idea how anyone could know this in the pre-season, particularly in the NIL era. UGA's O-line was supposed to be one of the best in the nation last year and was getting major hype in the pre-season and it turned out to be one of the worst lines we've had in years.

In Florida's case I'm basing it off the fact that they had a very good O-line last year and are either 4 or all 5 starters are returning.

That is a good way to get LSU more respect if Florida is ranked high.

After their last few seasons and schedule I think most Gator fans would be ecstatic with that.

I understand it to some degree. QB is the most impactful position. Lagway is poised to have a great year in the SEC. However, you can't just point to the QB and overlook the problem areas.

This is what it has been for SCAR and Oklahoma as well. Overlook the bad and focus on the QB.

I don't see the same thing with LSU for example. Everyone knows that LSU has a good QB, but generally the focuse usually is on the problems. Lack of run game, new OL, defense issues, etc.
