UF/SC people: Does this change the calculus re: FSU and Clemson?

I’m curious if, a few years down the line, it’ll get to the point where the idea of FSU/Clemson as conference games becomes more attractive, to allow more variance in the OOC schedule without having 11/12 games per year being “big” ones

Admin may want it.
Fans for SC wont. Screw Clemson, don't reward them with a piece of the SEC pie.

lol thinking anyone anywhere cares about that. The only thing they care about experiencing is taking the money out of your wallet.

Clemson are a pile of flapping vaginas. They could have left the ACC with us but pussied out like the gaping vaginas they are.

I think it depends on what becomes more important to the league More valuable inventory or new markets.

tbh - I don't think either of those 2 want to come to the SEC now with the adjusted revenue share model the ACC just caved in to giving them -
those two both know they have an unbelievably easier path to a post-season playoff as things are now -
the SOS aspect the CFP committee is now talking about doesn't guarantee anything for teams playing tougher conference schedules - we're still gonna see SEC teams get left out for better records from other conferences - it's all lip service from the committee -
sometimes I wanna see Clem U get bulldozed with injuries week after week in SEC play - other times I wanna just laugh at them because they're playing in Pittsburgh and Syracuse

It looks like they made a wiser decision honestly. SC hasn't won anything while Clemson is constantly ranked high and has won some NCs. It took Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier to get you up to a somewhat respectable status as an SEC program and even Spurrier couldn't win big.

False usce and Clem weren’t asked together. Clem was invited with unc. Unc said no Clem said yes. When Kramer told the sec that they’d have to find a replacement for unc the original ten decided against Clem. Usce wasn’t invited until atm fsu and Miami said no.

Negative usce was horrible pre sec. Most of the best years of usce football are in the sec. They never won a bowl game til like 98 or something

I still want Clemson on the schedule. Even if it's tougher on SC, rivalries matter in CFB.

Wouldn't adding Clemson and FSU screw up the 6/3 split that allows a team to play everyone else home and away over a 4 year span?
16 team league with 12 non annual opponents needs 24 games (6x4) to get everyone home and home.
18 team league with 14 non annual opponents would take 28 games. Can't do that in 4 years.

Look at 2010-2013
Carolina consistently beat Clemson, but Clemson was rewarded with BCS bowls and conference titles, while all South Carolina got was a single SECE title and a few Outback Bowl wins
Last year as well. Clemson goes 9-3, loses to Carolina, yet they win the ACC and get a playoff berth. South Carolina goes 9-3, beats Clemson, and all they get is like the Belk Bowl against Illinois and Bert
So even when Clemson has inferior teams, they still get rewarded because they play in the ACC

I’m not SC/UF/Ga/KY, but another angle is that yes they get a slice of the pie, but they don’t have only two games to prepare for.
Usually there are only two or three teams in the ACC rust are good.
Those four teams’ ACC rivals will have more losses and I can see those four enjoying that.

I’m working under the (already being reported) assumption that the ACC will collapse in 2031 once the GOR penalty gets low enough and UNC bolts to the SEC
