Ty told Kalen when he first got here that he wasn’t going anywhere and “wanted to be on his first NC team at Alabama”.

Ty has been locked in for years. I’m excited:

Feels good to go ahead and get this out of the way.

All this guy has to do is manage the offense efficiently, and we're playoff bound. If the dude comes out and shreds it then hey that's a bonus. I think he's more than capable of leading this offense. Strong OL, good RB room, and a lot of talent in the WR room, just keep the ball safe and make winning plays.

He just has to be solid. Solid QB play last year and we go 11-1. His play just can’t actively be sabotaging us like Milroes was.

No.

If he comes out and shreds this is a NC level team.

It's TYme!

He's going to light it up in this offense. Simpson was better than Jalen Milroe last spring/summer and now he's finally getting his opportunity.

Let's Get It!

Why anyone would infer that about Ty is beyond me. He’s the polar opposite of Milroe in every sense.

He does have some wheels

Just needs to slide more often

I think there's a non zero chance Ty has more rushing yards than Milroe did last year. He's not as fast as Milroe but is a better scrambler. I think there's a good chance he averages more yards per carry.

Oh I know that Ty is a good athlete and not Brodie Croyle sitting back there. I was referring to the poster above inferring that Ty would purposely try to undermine our team like Milroe did last season. Ty looks to be a true leader and has had to put up with a ton of bullshite to get to this point.

The thing I want to see from him is that young Aaron Rodgers effective mobility as a passer. If the coast is clear because everyone is covered, sure, go get them yards with your legs. Otherwise, use your legs to get your WRs open and deliver explosive plays.

Brodie Croyle was a very good athlete. He got his knees busted and he had a shite offense and a shittier Oline. But when he got to Alabama he was damn good at escaping the pocket. He wasnt a running QB, but he could scramble and he was good at sliding. Brodie was far more talented than most every QB we have ever had.

Brodie was an elite talent because of his arm. It got him drafted and it had him starting games in the NFL. But his injuries prevented him from reaching anywhere close to his potential. He was not a big guy.

Meh... I would be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical. He hasn't seen and meaningful playing time through 2 previous coaches, despite being behind milroe, who we know had many issues. Idk... I guess we'll see
