If tweet fails to load, click here. Really puts Saban’s dominance into perspective.

Kevin Norwood is underrated and was so clutch.

He also taught Kirby everything Kirby knows about program management and built the foundation for lsu’s sustained success after he left. As impressive as 80-21 is, it doesnt even begin to showcase how goat saban was. He’s responsible for three of the four teams listed. Okie playing a joke sched was responsible for the rest.

Only one of those four lost to Vanderbilt in the last 365 days of the year

I would’ve gone with “one of those four beat Alabama by 21.”
But that would also require you to say “one of those four beat LSU by 28.”

Didn’t know Oklahoma was that dominant. Wow

Oklahoma's doesn't count. There's a shite ton of win vs #24 Kansas, or #23 Texas Tech in there. Do their record vs ranked SEC opponents, and I'd bet it's like 2-10. After 2000, OU was 0-7 in BCS Nati and CFP games.
Lost '04 LSU
Lost '05 USC
Lost '08 Florida
Lost '16 Clemson
Lost '17 Georgia
Lost '18 Bama
Lost '19 LSU (49-7 at half)
4 straight years of making CFP and losing round 1. You know what they say about definition of insanity.

You're the idiot for not understanding just how many #24 Kansas's, #23 Texas Tech's, #25 TCU's, #24 West Virginia type games are in that record. I'd bet their record vs Top 25 SEC opponents since 2000 would be like 2-10.

Well remember these are probably game time rankings, not end of season rankings.

Since 2000 (why 2000?), OU has played a ranked SEC team 16 times. We are 5-11. Not good, but you'd have lost the bet. This record is only against teams that were in the SEC at the time.
If you include teams that make up the SEC today (adding in ranked UT, A&M, and Mizzou teams), the record changes to 26-17.
Interesting that the SEC teams on this list have played roughly the same number of ranked teams as OU.
The schedule argument is tired when you consider ALL the history. Some of the old SEC teams haven't really played each other that much. Why is that? Why did the SEC only require 5 or 6 conference games for decades?

Let's leave Tejas and OU out of these lists until they've been in the league a few years.

One of those four beat Oklahoma by 20. Another on the list lost to Oklahoma by 21.
