My least favorite part of Fall Camp, season ending injuries. Andre Cojoe out with an ACL. He was competing for the Right Tackle job. He was unlikely to win, but Texas gets thinner in a position group with a lot to prove.

He was never a potential tackle starter … change your subject line . In fact he wouldn’t of started at any OL position.

I don't like seeing that happen to any player.

Never good when a freshman OT’s one injury away from playing SEC snaps.

Kelvin Banks worked out pretty well. I understand he's an exception, but never is a bit strong.

He 100% was competing to start, injuries happen to every one but the subject line is accurate. Link to disprove me otherwise f off

That sucks… Injuries this time of the year are awful. Hopefully, he can get some surgery and get back at it next year.

“Before the injury, Cojoe was projected as the first offensive tackle off the bench for the Longhorns”

He probably wasn't going to start but to say "never" is a bit of a reach. He had a chance.

That sucks for the young man. Went through spring ball and the summer workouts only to have that happen at the precipice of the season’s opening.

Hope he recovers fully and quxkly.

I expect the hype about UT is for real this time and the loss of one player isn't going to derail things . . . unless that one player's last name is Manning.

Which means he was battling for a starting position.

1 I could show you 2-3 links he is competing to start and 2 if you are first off the bench on either o or d line in the fall you are competing for a starting spot still

Was it a contact injury, or a non contact injury? Bc if it’s non contact, I’d blame turf.

I honestly could give a flip. I replied to your dare (to anyone who could show he’s not battling for starter) from a reputable Texas site which states he’s a bench player. You can go dig all you want I really don’t care.

He is not a starter. And technically everyone on any team’s roster is battling to be a starter lol. The context matters. If your starter goes down he was first in line to replace.

So their 2nd Team RT got hurt, or their starting 1st Team RT got hurt? I read it as the 2nd Team RT got hurt, but them OP kind of implied he was supposed to be 1st team. Idk.

It must suck to work like hell all off season and summer and then getting injured, only to have the entire fanbase you're working for throw you to the curb, talking about how you sucked and didn't have a chance.

What “fan” has said anything like that?

You do understand that other fanbases are on smthus site right? Haven't seen one Texas fan say anything negative about the kid

Thats a significant lineman gone, damn, every camp we loose someone

I dont care for-us being ranked 1 because it puts target on back but it does bring recruiting advantages so we’ll ride that wave if its there.
