He's going to run a team on to the field that is very hard to beat for a long long time.

His defenses in particular are going to be nasty.

I’m just glad his fat arse isn’t sleeping on me.

(I kid. I just tried to beat the trolls to it.)

Why didn't he do it the first time when he was y'alls defensive coordinator?

All I see is a bunch of 8-4 seasons and covid.

Threads like this used to be, and still should be, bannable offenses. Just look at what has happened to this website since we allowed the Texas teams into this conference.

Mike Elko was never the problem during his time as DC for Texas A&M.

You should be excited. Every time A&M is hyped up preseason it made the eventual 8-4 that much worse. Now it won’t be so bad because you’re expecting it, and if they do better than that it’s a pleasant surprise.

Until A&M can do better than 8-4, this is not a concern

Absolutely. Most of us can hear the Clickity-Clack as the coaster leaves the station and just hits the lift chain. By the time the team checks in for practice in a couple of weeks the aggy cacophony of their future greatness will be rising as with the coaster cars. Clickity-Clack, Clickity-Clack, Clickity-Clack. And the beat goes on!

Elko is better than most pundits give him credit for.

That being said, the Aggie ceiling will continue to be established by poor QB play.
