Its only called trafficking because of the amount. Weed is legal in most states now and should be legal in all. Its not though, so you have to punish him for getting in trouble.

Assuming the gun is legal, because they didn't say otherwise, so zero issue with that.

He will get probation and like a 6 game suspension and be in the dog house for a bit. Good chance the other guy eats all the charges.

Elephant in the room.. everyone knows they are gettindg paid hundreds of thousands maybe even millions a year, They are targets so I assume a lot more players have guns these days.
