Both of our fanbases are riding pretty high.

LSU felt like house money after beating Arkansas.

Now it’s getting closer.

Meanwhile Coastal is sitting pretty.

Hopefully Louisville beats Coastal at least once.

I’d be feeling great if it wasn’t for the rain delay and Evan’s could start tomorrow. As it stands: this is going to be a fricking war.

We know either of us can win it all. Easy to talk shite when one team gets a lucky break, has a weak schedule or has glaring holes in pitching or hitting. These two teams are talented and a single mistake will determine the winner from the loser.

We can go back to talking shite in football season. For now, I will just enjoy some really well played baseball.

outside Coastal the rest of the country has been very unimpressive

It’s crazy the SEC didn’t more teams through

UCLA had 0 good pitchers

LSU can pull a Bon Scott with some jizz as far as their football team/fandom goes. But baseball is a bit more gentlemanly by nature, and I hold their baseball program's history and accomplishments in very high regard.

My thoughts exactly. We basically fulfilled a make-a-wish in the 9th.

I would not be surprised at all if this goes to a Thursday deciding game. On paper Arky has a deeper pitching staff and better overall hitting. On the flip side, I like our chances when Anderson is on the mound in a winner take all situation.

I fully expect hogs to lose tonight. LSU is just playing dominant baseball at the right time. Put us in a bind losing the first game in Omaha. It hurts because I wanted Dvh to get one and get the monkey off his back, but if we lose tonight or tomorrow, I’ll be cheering for tigers chasing 8.

Not really, Arkansas has a really good shot to win tonight to set up for a winner take all tomorrow.
