Really like Jay. I would not trade him for any HC currently coaching in the US.

What's crazy is 2 short weeks ago some of the lunatics on the Tiger Rant were calling for his head after the Little Rock loss. Some of our fans are idiots

Oh do you mean like for every coach in every sport every year. Pathetic LSU fans. Unfortunately we have too many of them

Jay is a great coach. I know last year didn’t go great, but you can’t be in the CWS every year.

Jay Johnson is YOUNG, and one of the best recruiters in the country. He did it at Arizona, before coming to LSU.

I don’t think the man sleeps! Just stays recruiting. Literally lives for baseball. He may or may not be human

He is, relatively speaking, to other high end college baseball coaches.

ETA just replying to this specific comment, I wouldn't say he's the best coach in America yet.

Do you legit think winning a title at lsu in baseball puts him in the goat conversation? Is les miles or ed o in the same tier?

I don't know how much he's paid, but his success means his salary does not go to football. I wish all of Bama's rivals could have great success in things like baseball.

You know it is possible to be good at more than one sport correct?
