Despite going 30-26 in his first season as head coach, Michael Earley will be retained by Texas A&M, per an announcement made by Trev Alberts on Friday afternoon. Billy Liucci was joined by Ryan Brauninger and Richard Zane to react to the news that the Earley Era will continue.

The dirty little secret in the Station, is that aggy is stretched out with their budget. Expect bake sales and car washes to pop up all over BCS metro.

I’ll go on record stating Earley will be successful when all is said and done.

Those players absolutely love that dude. Couple that with their unlimited NIL moneypot, they’re in a good place despite their hiccup this season.

I’m really interested in how the “ Holistic View” is going to work out. Could be a game changer.

Loved him so much to not even qualify for postseason? And don’t say talent deficient because they were preseason #1

Schloss neutered them. Might as well pause any stadium renovations that are planned

The Texas players loved Charlie Strong and Shaka Smart. They still delivered all-time bad seasons.

Texas A&M had an all-time bad season for a preseason No. 1

It’s never good when the AD has to make a statement about not firing a coach

I don’t think anyone thought he was going to get fired.

The only ones asking for him to get fired was horn bear writers, the only ones who made a rumor we wanted the Vols coach was horn sites, not even Texags, and now the one team doing victory laps after Aggies retained him are horn fans.

Young guy under 40, first head coaching job although he got it in a crappy way with Schloss bailing on them. A&M is reeling from the Jimbo contract and money is probably an issue. But I agree, if given a chance with real support he'll be successful. Or as successful as a coach can be at A&M.
