This can be a player from your favorite team, or even from another squad if you feel that way.
Mine is Ryan Swope (WR 2009-2012, Texas A&M)
He balled out in two different conferences, with two different Head Coaches and with multiple QBs under varying offensive schemes. His wheel routes in particular were killer. He also wasn't scared to go over the middle against anyone.
He showed up in big games. Notable examples are 2010 Oklahoma and 2012 @ Alabama
He had great speed and elusiveness, but concussions sidelined his Pro career
Plucked out of Austin, TX

It’s not the offseason.

Roger Staubach at navy and with the cowboys. By far my favorite.

Just because you losers aren’t in the tournament doesn’t mean we want to see your stupid offseason thread! Now go pop the top on a Natty Lite and watch the rest of the SEC in envy!

Matt Jones or Pat White.

Even the thumbnail for SEC Rant acknowledges that this is a Football board.

I have fond memories of Jordan Jefferson and Leonard Fournette.

It's a toss up for me between Tim Couch and Randall Cobb. Both were incredibly fun to watch play at Kentucky.

How can it not be Baker Mayfield.

I think a lot of the Tiger faithful would go with the Honey Badger. Not as the absolute greatest ever (which he was) but as a FAVORITE. Especially for what he has done since he left LSU. Has really turned into a good dude and been a great ambassador. His on field performance speaks for itself.

Brad Smith. Most of the SEC didn't get to play him , but Cock fans might remember him from our bowl game from 20 years ago.

Pudge Heffelfinger has always been my favorite CFB player...
Mostly because his name was Pudge Heffelfinger.

I also was gonna say honey badger. I was a kid when he played and he’s basically the player that single-handedly got me into football

Vincent Bo Jackson.
This guy. The only player I ever witnessed play who would do things I’d describe as other-worldly.
