Actually, yes, Oklahoma can be compared to Alabama longest winning streak, more conference champions and if you want to lean on that play national championships yells got beat by one so welcome to earth

Nice, you get all the original SEC teams in one section(like all the babies who cry about the newcomers) and you can find away to not play them, Then you get this fuzzy feeling likes it 1999.
Myself I wish all the conferences would go back to 1980 when everything wasn't about money. The best team wins and they played in the 15 bowl games. Because we all know now its about giving undeserving team a participation trophy.

Don Beebe wore a protective cap when he played for the Buffalo Bills in the late eighties and early nineties. His looked a lot better than the ones today.

I hate to say it but ESPN getting the rights was the real changer not any schools. They pushed there new product and changed the balance of college football. The SEC was now on national tv two to three times every Saturday. Kids. Like to be seen on tv and then they could.
