That’s just goofy. One conference tournament doesn’t and shouldn’t erase an entire regular season of inconsistency from Vandy.
I also don’t think even Ole Miss fans believe they’re a top 8 seed.

We went 6-4 in SEC series just like the Hogs did- and we didn't get to play Mizzou and SC.

I said this yesterday, but I think a lot of people are projecting first-half of SEC conference play onto the whole season.
Vanderbilt, after game two of the Oklahoma series, won game three, then won four of their next five SEC series, with their one lost series being 1-2 (they won 13-0 in their one win). This includes sweeping Georgia and Kentucky, along with winning at Tennessee.
I'm not saying they should be above Texas/Arkansas, as I don't think they should be ahead of either. However, they're not really inconsistent anymore, not sure why that's still the narrative.
