Will Selection Committee Adjust For Missouri "SEC" Wins?

There is always discussion on this board about how you need somewhere in the range of 12-14 SEC wins in baseball to make the NCAA tournament.
I saw some discussion last night about this and I had been thinking about it too, but in a league where one team is just soooooo much worse than the rest, not even close to the competition, it feels unfair to the teams that don't get to play Missouri to just count SEC wins as if Missouri is a decent team.
It feels unfair to teams like Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee that they don't get three, essentially free, SEC wins on their schedule and I just am wondering how the committee will handle this?
For instance, Vanderbilt's 12-9 conference record looks a lot better than Alabama's 12-9 conference record when you realize that three of those twelve wins for Alabama were against Missouri.

If it roles were reversed here then absolutely!

It's already factored in to the RPI.

When it was 6-2 yesterday, they used their cleanup hitter to sacrifice bunt.
It was hilarious. The crowd reacted like it was a comedy show laugh track.

Correct - Alabama swept Mizzou and their RPI dropped 5 spots.

RPI adjusts for this exact thing. RPI has been one of the most determinant factors in seeding for the committee for years now

They should. Thats why RPI should be a major factor… it accounts for that in the formula.

No. Missouri isn't even in the SEC.

For real. In the SEC it doesn’t matter if you play Missouri. The rest of the conference is so tough that if you win most of your other SEC series, your RPI will still be fine. I mean it seems like half of the SEC is in the top 10 on a yearly basis

If Mizzou would hold a campus wide exorcism and denounce DEI shite might turn around.
