I quickly read this as "Fire Loomis" and then was disappointed.

It’s way past time. I thank him for managing one of the best teams in school history but dude can’t develop players to have a winning edge.

It has to happen.

Not sure what the difference is firing him now or at the end of the season. We have nothing to play for post season wise.

Hell, we may be the team to slip up and give Mizzou their first conference win.

This team is out here dropping routine fly balls while trying to mount a come back.

The 3rd base coach is waving players around after the ball has already been thrown home.

Our base running is absolutely horrible. Several other time we nearly got caught with our pants down on the base paths.

Hell, Lemonis tried to get the team fired up at the end and get on the ump about a non-call and couldn’t even get himself ejected.

The evidence suggests it was won in spite of his coaching

It won't matter who gets hired, without NIL money MSU athletics is dead.

But I thought all of our donors were putting NIL money towards baseball, and that was why we couldn’t compete in football recruiting…

Baseball isn’t like any other sport.. good talent evaluation and development could build a monster without much NIL money..

Finding the right coach on the way up could completely turn a program around…

I’ve been saying Josh Elander’s name for 2 years and no one is hiring him.. or maybe they are trying and he is saying no.. that dude is gonna be good.

Like you say, his name keeps coming up. Maybe he’s taking the Kirby approach. He’s got a good gig, they’ve got that program absolutely rolling, and I imagine Vitello is a cool dude to work for.

Disband the program not worth wasting money on Ron Polks failures

Lemonis did more than Polk could ever dream of

I’d try some head coaches that will likely tell us no and then go the assistant route.

Start with Erlander
Will Coggins name would be on the assistant list.

Uh huh. Polk created SEC baseball. Skip took it to the next level.

Ron Polk’s post-Easter lunch turd could have taken the 2021 MSU team to Omaha and won it.

This is a ridiculous approach. A lot of people take really good teams to Omaha and don’t win. However the dude has got to go.

State didn’t even win their division that year.
