This may be my last season to really enjoy college football. The 12 team Playoff (soon to be 16 teams). Players shopping for more money weekly. Rules changes designed for more commercials, etc.
College baseball is more fun now.

College baseball may be even worse in terms of pay to win

I'll still watch, but I'm not as emotionally invested as I was for years and years. I don't plan my fall Saturdays around football anymore.

Absolutely. If I happen to be looking for something to watch, I’ll watch. But I don’t care. I can’t tell you who was in the playoff. I can’t tell you what Arkansas’ record was or who we played in the Liberty? Bowl.
And I REALLY can’t believe people who spend a bunch of money on their team. Go read your Bible.

With each passing month , it becomes more understandable
the timing of the GOAT's exit from coaching.

I would have retired too if I lost one of my biggest recruiting advantages.

Saban retired because he was about to essentially be coaching back at Mich St where he had to follow the rules and didn’tt have boosters buying him 5 stars under the table. His timing was perfect.

Everyone laughing at the Tennessee Nico situation better pucker up. This won't be the only one. I don't care if you have a 2 star player that end up killing it. If he has a good year he's going to want to renegotiate. That putting him on scholarship thing isn't going to cut it anymore.

Agree. College football and basketball are ruined with NIL and college football free agency.

Name one baseball player that pockets even a paltry $1 million.

Boo boo, boo hoo,……cry more……

The new world of college football is not fun for you, …..do not let the door hit you in the butt on your way out.

,…and Saban with his hippocritical pontificating can go with you.

I'm back to just listening to LSU games on the radio like when I was a kid doing stuff with my dad. I barely watch LSU games on TV, and never watch games that don't involve the Tigers anymore. I didn't catch a single playoff game last season.

More like back at Miami where he had to deal with a bunch of prima donna millionaires.

Not sure about baseball but NiJaree Canady a softball player for Texas Tech signed a million dollar NIL deal.

I keep saying, the money is not going away, fans need to get over that. Fixing the portal is the priority. Annual free agency is not sustainable.
