Yes, yes - women’s hoops.
Let’s get that part out of the way.
As many have said we all joke about the non-revenue and/or women’s sports - until you get sucked into it because you actually have a good team. For all the awkward lay-ups and weird body mechanics I have been drawn to the theater of coaches and evident love of the game by the girls and the way they speak about it.
Seeing as how Texas hasn’t had the men or the women in a FF since 2003, I’m looking forward to this. I’m usually the realist, but I am sensing something special right now with Texas - I think tonight’s game will be excellent and decided in the last minute.
I think UCLA-UConn will be great as well.
Good luck Gamecocks - and may the SEC semi winner tonight take it all…

How did the SEC teams end up playing against each other in both men and women semi-finals?
I guess I'm just ticked having to play South Carolina again. They good and shite, I'm not optimistic.

As a State fan I am pulling for Texas and Vic Schaffer. He and his Mississippi State team was royally screwed in that 2018 final game vs Notre Dame. It was a well played game by both teams but there is no way that was not a foul on Morgan Williams after she stole that pass heading the other was only to be knocked down....should have been called. I hope he gets it this time!

Well, I mean everyone talked about how good the SEC was this year in men's, and we ended up with how many teams in the tourney? 14? And how many of those with an actual legitimate shot to win the title before the tourney started?
My point is, when it gets down to the last 4 teams remaining what did you expect? No SEC team to have to play another? Men's Elite Eight on a different day very easily could've resulted in an all-SEC Final Four.

At least by chance. Sure. Except the SEC 1 seeds (2 each) in both tournaments just so happened to be placed on the same side of the bracket in relation to the national championship games thus insuring in a chalk situation it couldn’t be an all SEC final.

frick that. I don’t like a lot of what she does either, but I’ll never root against South Carolina - especially since it’s apparently the only team we have that can put trophies in the case.

yeah just can't make myself care about basketball. Don't get me wrong. I want all horn sports teams to do well for their fans. I just can't bring myself to watch. I haven't even watched a mens bb game since the final four with tj ford.
I do agree that I hope the tex/sc winner wins it all. Never thought I'd be a rah rah go sec guy but I guess I am now.

Oh, wow, just now realizing now that the women's final four is down the road from me. You wouldn't know if from the media attention.
