Crappy way to lose last night. Mental mistakes are so frustrating. But, you had a good year. Made it further than Mizzou. Big things are ahead.

Would have been nice to have 3 SEC teams in Elite 8 so far, so that loss stings.

Hopefully the conference will kick some arse tonight.

I'm rooting hard for Ole Miss. I think they're playing better ball than Mich St. They have a coach that can match Izzo.

Little things turn into big things.
A couple of needless 3 pt shots too early in the shot clock.
A missed free throw.
A goal tending call.
A 'held ball' after getting a crucial rebound.
Little things mean a lot.

I get an unreasonable and somewhat disturbing sense of joy whenever a Big 10 team loses, so I’ll really be pulling for Landmass tonight!

That was the quickest “held ball” in the history of basketball. Refs can’t help themselves sometimes it seems.

Hindsight is always 20/20.

There are instances in every major sport that happen in virtually every game that changes the course of events one way or the other.

That's sports. There's no asterisk for losing close games or getting blown out. If you lose, you lose.

Agree. We were picked 16 to start and finished in the sweet 16. As far as calls last night and whatnot - we made plenty of bad decisions that had at least or more to do with ultimately losing - shooting too early, etc. it was a great finish to a season that started really pooorly

Seemed like Tech had them right where they wanted them all game. Their coach knew those shots wouldn’t keep falling. Arkansas ran out of offense.

Tech won the game being the more composed team and being relentless on offensive boards.

It is a tough way to lose, but also a statement of how an experienced coach can take a bunch of guys and turn them into a team.

Then Cal had no excuse in losing that game.

At some point, raw talent and experience are deciding factors.

Tech wasn't better but an issue of coaching.

I watched the replay. At 4 seconds left, you could tell, no one knew what to do for Arkansas. They built a front on DJ and he had no where to go, and everyone else just stood around. Cal needed a timeout since it seems he did not give them a play in any huddle before this for what to do if he wasn't going to call a timeout.

Last night was one of the most heartbreaking moments in history for the Hog in my opinion

foul ball was probably the worst, since I was an infant during the 1969 game of the century and obviously can't remember it. Even watching the replay of the 69 game though is heartbreaking.

UCLA '95 was another one.

Penn Wagers bitch arse and Marc Curles bitch arse also come to mind...

1 or 2 Bama and Texas games...

I was hoping there was only a Top Ten, but I'll bet there's a damn Top Thirty
