Anyone ever heard buzz about being a bad practice player or mom/girlfriend issues?

His stock fell steadily over the last 10+ months. I think his lack of production was the biggest driver.

I heard some rumors about him not exactly being a favorite of his teammates. But nothing else.

Here is a report that the Lions might take him in the first round. He has tremendous upside and makes big plays when the team needs him to. He blocked for his teammates and celebrated their big plays with them. That's all on tape.

Bob McGinn covers Green Bay so his "report" seems like a shot at a division rival that swept his team and is looking to only get better on offense.....and to create clicks.

Burden should be the 2nd WR taken behind McMillan, and any team that passes on him for a different receiver is going end up looking dumb. I don't see how his girlfriend could be worse than Travis Hunters', and Hunter is still going top 3. Would teams rather have a receiver who has children with 8 different women like Tyreek Hill? This is dumb pre-draft bs

Saw plenty of opinions from Mookie Cooper's mom over the years he was here, Don't think I remember seeing or hearing anything from Burden's mom once.

There's a lot of conflicting opinions on Burden (mid 1st into the 2nd).

The disrespect to Johnnie Walker is interesting too (like UDFA). I think he's going to be a steal for someone.

I agree that he could be a steal for the right team, but he is small when it comes to being a NFL DE. 6’3” is short for a DE and at his pro day he was 6’2.5” tall and 249lbs.
quote:

Walker made great strides in his final two seasons as a starter for Missouri and became a havoc-causing defender with a surprising floor. His size might scare some teams off, but he plays with the power, speed, and athleticism to make an impact at the next level and projects as a pass-rush specialist early on with room to develop into more.

quote:

Walker has trouble following the football but chases down the play when he finds it. He needs to speed up his disengagement when he locates the ball; too often, he stays engaged with the blocker, and the play gets away. When asked to take on pullers, he uses the wrong arm technique to rip across the face of the puller and allow the rest of the defense to make the play, but it seems more scheme than choice because he has the power to lean into the puller and set an edge, making the hole smaller or blowing up the play entirely. As a backside defender, he could be more engaging and has the speed to run down plays from the back.

I'll be up front: I don't expect much from Burden in the NFL. Great natural abilities, but not much football iq. I think Walker will work well however

It's time we will find out about Burden. He will be removed from all the people telling him how great he is (which seems to be A LOT of people with those St. Louis kids) for the first time in his life. He might wilt, or he may get a giant chip on his shoulder and let it inspire him to work like he never has before. He has the talent to be a big producer.

I think Burden's success will be determined on what team he goes too and how they utilize him. He will be a deebo/ayuik type player. Need to get him the ball in space through "gadget" type plays.

It seems like now alot of people are down on Burden especially because of his 2024 numbers. They call him a diva and such. What I saw was a kid who seemed to understand that his QB was hurt. He didnt pout, he blocked for teammates and made plays when the ball got to him.

An injured Cook and Drew Pyne is not going to light up the stats, I dont care if Jerry Rice is your WR.

Supposedly Burden's manager is his G/F. If that is true, that is a huge red flag that you can't really just excuse away. That is just pure stupidity if it is true.

Wease had no issues improving his production (catches and yards) with the QB situation. Both saw a regression in TDs.

Almost every Mizzou player in history is known for something; Brady will forever be known for leaving the hospital to rally the team to victory (yes it gives him legend status).....for Burden he'll be known for 2nd & 59.

You literally just went out of your way to dog on another poster.

You are probably the most insufferable person on this board for a myriad of reasons.
