In order to be on this list, you must have won an SEC title

1. Nick Saban (the GOAT of college athletics annoyingly)
2. Bear Bryant (Didn't seem possible but somehow got passed)
3. Pat Summitt (Basically invented women basketball and first coach to 1000 wins)
4. Adolph Rupp (creator of greatest basketball program in history and revolutionized basketball in the south)
5. Skip Bertman (5 titles in 10 years and .700 winning record in Omaha...)

In my opinion this is the non debatable top 5 coaches to operate within the SEC. Maybe the order can be rearranged but don't think this list will ever change. All these coaches spent majority of their careers in SEC and permanently changed their sports. Thoughts?

I see why you don't want OU and Texas to participate in this. That list would change a lot.

Suzanne Yocolan. She and Patterson were true adversaries until Yocolan took it next level.

So you think Texas and Oklahoma should be included on a list of best SEC coaches and you haven't made a full year.

We will never see that type of dominance ever again.

It pushed other track and field programs to get better.

How can you put a coach on a list about the SEC if they haven't won the SEC?

You have 1 season in the SEC and none of your coaches have accomplished anything in the SEC.

Why would they be included?

Oh really? Mack brown and his one title his ENTIRE career and Buddhist preaching Garrido the burrito and his titles would still be behind Skip the legend. Don’t even mention Switzer because his 3 mediocre titles wouldn’t touch Saban or the Bear. frick off
