SEC host cities.

The baseball tournament should always be in Birmingham. However, Nashville, Atlanta, and New Orleans should rotate the SEC basketball tournament and SECCG in football. These are the three biggest cities in the south and would keep the SEC fanbases more centrally located in traditional SEC states. Its only a matter of time before the yankee Sankey forces Texas cities into the mix. All SEC functions should only take place in the true South and its major cities: Nasville, Atlanta, and New Orleans.

At least we aren't Missouri or Kentucky..

That's a B1G vs SEC map too..

New Orleans should host the SECCG every year.

It is pretty funny how the argument for keeping the SECCG in Atlanta is always attributed to things like superior infrastructure and airport access, yet when New Orleans hosts events like the Final 4 and Super Bowl everyone raves how it's the best host city for a big event. In the past people would play the geography card which doesn't apply anymore. I'm in the pro rotate camp.
eta.
because nothing gets the Bulldog fans all hot and bothered like this topic

Thanks but it’s easier for us if it’s just within an hour drive

Have it at kyle field, so that aggy's can see the other teams win the SEC on their own turf.

One of the biggest reasons the SECCG is in Atlanta is to keep the ACCCG out of Atlanta. If Sankey moves the game it will never be in Atlanta again, and he doesn’t want that.
Another reason is that Atlanta has the most SEC school alumni outside of the state where the school is located. For example, there are more Ole Miss alumni in Atlanta that anywhere else outside Mississippi. It’s an easy ticket sell.

It would sell out and make money for the conference. Not a lot to do in CS

4 city rotation.
Houston, New Orleans, Nashville and Atlanta.
JerryWorld is in Arlington, so he can go frick himself.

Should add Texas cities or at least NOLA to the mix once every 4 years and should rotate, no reason not to other than being stubborn and "this is where it has always been" nonsense.
Glads the BB tourney rotates, they should do the same for baseball and football.

Basketball should be Atlanta always too. Easiest city to get in and out of for all teams. Baseball can play at Gwinnett Stripers while we’re at it as well.

Nashville in December can be cold AF. Stadiums with roofs only IMO.

Of all the teams you could have chosen you picked the one who has never played in the SECCG

How about the baseball tourney in Florida? Somewhere with 2-3 spring training fields close to each other?
Pros
Multiple fields to accommodate a winners bracket and losers bracket
Lots of lodging and parking
Better for families. Maybe the girls want to do something else while the boys go to the park? Lots of things to do..
That is a scouts paradise.. why not play in their backyard?
Cons
Change of venue?
To be fair, I haven't been to The Hoover Met, and maybe all of these things are great as it is.. I just think with 16 teams, that's gonna be a lot of games that have to be played in a short amount of time.
You could run 2 brackets of 8 teams each pretty easy on each field.. then have a championship.. or maybe a final 4 in 1 venue.

You only get one event. If football is in Atlanta then baseball and basketball are somewhere else. Nashville is perfect for Basketball. A lot to do around Bridgestone.

Atlanta is terrible. It has a big airport but it takes you an hour to go 10 miles on the road.

No. OP said baseball should stay in Birmingham/Hoover and have basketball and football all rotate between Atlanta/Nashville/New Orleans.

I stand corrected.
Nashville is already building a domed football stadium.

Nah, Atlanta for Football, Nashville for bball and Bham for baseball is perfect. The winner of the SEC historically and in the new playoffs goes to the Sugar so that's stupid and way too many homos in Texas to get anything.
