Can't say as I wouldn't have been disgusted to play in Louisanna too, but I probably wouldn't be saying it out loud.

Ricky Williams remembers draft day as “One of the worst days of my life”

quote:

“I was just shocked, I was in a daze, and Ditka made the big trade, and I was still butt hurt that I fell all the way to five,” Williams said. “I was at Texas and they told me I was the best ever.”

Williams joked that his famous marijuana habit might have been curtailed if he had played alongside Peyton Manning in Indianapolis.

“I would have loved to have played with Peyton,” Williams said. “I think if I had been with Peyton I probably wouldn’t have been smoking so much.”

He has an anxiety disorder. He would have been miserable anywhere.

Fortunately, you're a homo with no athletic ability, so you didn't have to worry about playing anywhere.

Your spelling and grammar makes it seem like English is your third language

Likely caused by excessive use of Marijuana. He has or had an addiction issue. He likely smokes the same anywhere.

New Orleans, and Louisiana in general, is the butthole of America.

Prove me wrong.

Saints were a bad team

Probably a fun team to play for when they’re good. Black and gold, doesn’t get cold, also the dome is loud

Williams said. “I was at Texas and they told me I was the best ever.”

This sums up what Sooner fans have been saying about whorn players forever, their sense of entitlement makes em think they are the gods of football, they don't have to actually work at it cuz they are just so much better than everyone else.

Hasn't he been diagnosed with some form of mental illness?

That pretty much says it all.

Ricky was tagged with and accused of a lot of things, but entitlement was not one of them.

It was well known that during practice, he ran til he got to the endzone. "We talking about practice, man." He was used as a fullback his first 2 years at Texas, and still set the NCAA rushing record. He was the opposite of entitlement.

He gained 12,000+ yards from scrimmage in 11 seasons in the NFL. including a meager total of 758 yds in the 3 year period he was retired/suspended by the NFL, for smoking weed.

NFL players assaulting and murdering people was okay, but can't have you smoking pot.
quote:

"People he wanted to deal with, he did. And people he wanted to have nothing to do with, he didn't. No one could understand that. I don't think guys in the locker room could grasp that he wanted to be to himself – you know, quiet. If you didn't understand him and didn't know what he was about, it always kept people in suspense."

Besides keeping to himself, Williams was known for conducting post-game interviews with his helmet on (complete with tinted visor) and avoiding eye contact. Williams was later diagnosed with social anxiety disorder.

Every team that needed a RB wanted to draft RW. New Orleans trading their entire draft for him is among the worst decisions ever. Putting him in a bride's dress for a photo shoot is a close second.

I was a freshman with Earl Campbell. I loved that a good team, the Oilers, drafted Earl. Too bad Ricky didn't have the same good fortune.

Ricky William's Record Run

I didn't call it the NFL for 10 years. For me, it was the "Ricky Williams Show".

They were Ditka picks. Just kept him from picking eight more bums.

Not quite.

1. Drafting Russell Erxleben (another Texan) in the 1st round
2. Hiring Ditka
3. The Williams trade
4. The wedding photo

You have semantic analysis issues. It was the worst day of his life because he thought he would be the #1 pick, but he wasn't even the first back drafted. He goes into more depth about this in an interview with Manziel.
