Aggies roster is almost unfair this season, deserving of #1 ranking.

Georgia way too high.

Texas too high.

Where's Alabama?

Damn! Top 5 SEC? And we thought basketball was going to be a gauntlet.

Why would any LSU fan be butt hurt about Wes? He did a good job as a pitching coach for us, then got a promotion.

We're pretty competitive in everything. Weird to act like that's a bad thing, used to be something you guys loved to crow about.

Alabama is a fringe Top 25 team again - have to replace a lot of the lineup, but do return Justin Lebron who is as elite a positional prospect as we've had in a decade. Staff has a bunch of good arms - would be huge if Quick is back to his old self to go along with Adams. Brought in some nice transfers. Should be a tournament team again, but will likely have to fight to get to .500 in league play.

Let's not get carried away yet. Schloss hasn't been world-class everywhere he goes for no reason. When a guy like that departs you feel it right away. Just ask Kalen DeBoer.

Georgia was one game away from Omaha last season. They ran out of pitching and have added some nice arms this season.

Our pitching is actually set to be a strength this year; more quality depth than I think we’ve ever had. It’s also nearly impossible to draw conclusions about this team beyond 1) the pitching should be improved and 2) despite Condon and Collins departures, we return some really good SEC bats and add a ton of offensive production through the portal. Wes has explicitly made it known that we will build in the portal every year (sticking with maybe 5 HS guys post Fall) and we have one of the best influxes of talent in that regard. Defense should be dramatically improved (which will help pitching).

Also, Foley is finally starting to look more like its contemporary SEC parks; 3B side has been expanded down the line to include a new pitching/hitting lab with expanded seating and overhead awnings around the whole park. We have also gone full turf as Wes wants the ability to immediately host camps post season and to limit weather impact games on games and practices.

Hopefully should see a phase 2 expansion in the next few years that would address 1b line and right field.

It’s been a widely unpopular decision among the fanbase but Wes has good reasoning - the field looked really rough after Regionals and during Supers and damn near needed to be resodded after Supers. Wes has cited Kirby’s approach to football during Summers as his model, he wants as much talent on our campus working out as he can possibly get and turf best serves that intention.

But if you have a series with us in late Spring (cough A&M) prepare for it to be scorching on field level…

Yet, he's never closed on the big game. He dominated the Mountain West and I think he's a pretty good coach.

Comparing him to one of the greatest coaches in CFB is pretty wild.
