Florida-SC: 21 fouls
Texas A&M-Ole Miss: 22 fouls
Georgia-Arkansas: 49 fouls

The worst type of called game to me is when refs are different from half to half, but the lack of uniformity around the league with officiating is absolutely absurd and needs to be looked at by the conference.

I can’t imagine how coaches feel having to prep their teams from one game to the next.

This is not a UGA got screwed thread btw. Both calls at the end of the game were hard for me to believe compared to what I watched elsewhere.

And Georgia has stunk for a long time, but I can’t imagine still watch college basketball for other teams

Shoutout to S&BB03’s conference thread

I think our game with Georgia had a ridiculous amount of fouls and flops. They called lots of fouls, not the flops.

Remember last week when Auburn played at Georgia and the refs kept giving Georgia three or four chances to win the game at the end but they couldn’t make one single basket? Works both ways I guess.

Its making games unwatchable. You are right, not only do coaches and players not know which given night the bums the SEC hires as refs will turn the game into a foul-fest, but it us fans too. How am I supposed to get into these games when half the time its whistle after whistle dragging these games out?

This may sound crazy but, I think the way games have been called thus far will help league teams when the NCAA tournament rolls around.
For one, you don't know what type of crew you will draw in the tournament and the teams that adjust during the games will have an advantage later on. It also practically forces the coaches to mix and match their benches and see how far someone can play with foul trouble or not.
I agree drawn out games are a bore but it may pay off for some teams later on. Just my 2 cents.

Not an SEC issue as refs that officiate in SEC games aren’t “SEC” refs, but regionally located and are NCAA refs. Does the SEC have some say on which crews it prefers? Absolutely. But this isn’t an SEC problem, it’s an NCAA problem.

Yeah, I agree that's way too many fouls.
It helped the Hogs win, we made 9 more points on free throws than Georgia.
Hogs only led for 29 seconds of the entire game. Led when it mattered though.

Even if we'd have won, that 2nd half would've run them off. Only thing we're attracting are James Harden fans.

One of those fouls was on Arkansas

I know a lot of people here are super biased in their complaints. This is a general complaint, not one about UGA getting screwed.

The second half of the Georgia/Arkansas game last night took an hour and 20 minutes to play. At some point, watching felt like a chore.

The 22 total in the OM-A&M is very misleading actually. A&M had been called for one, yes one, second half foul before they had to foul to try and extend the game. Which worked.

That last foul call against Arkansas' Ivisic was terrible and could have decided the game.

Watching the UK Bama game I think 5 minutes into the 2nd half the fouls were something like UK 6 Bama 1. I told my son watch this, Bama is gonna start getting fouls called on them to even things out. Next thing you know there were like 4 fouls called on Bama in about 2 minutes. It was so obvious how ridiculous these fouls were. Ticky tack things that were let go in the 1st half. It's really obvious what these refs do and they get away with it game after game.

The refs in the Aggie-OM deserve to be commended. They let the players decide the game
