And all of this on a team with the #1 ranked defense in the nation.
Legendary Team.

Legendary enough to lose 2 games, the second of which was to a terrible team and rival, that could have conceivably eliminated Ohio St from the playoffs…one of the most inconsistent teams to win a national championship in quite some time…congrats

You think playing more games than any prior team had something to do with that?

Was about to point out the same thing.

Feels like we should change the milestone for 2024 and beyond playoff teams; 1,000 yards just doesn't feel like a big deal.

Wait, the graphic says 2018 Oklahoma did it. With presumably less games.

This isn't the dunk the OP is making it out to be

2018 did this in a conference that doesn't play defense,

and 2024 did this in 16 games vs 14 games.

The backs, averaging 63 & 66 yards per game.

and it only took the 2-loss team that did it 16 games for it to happen this season -

unlike previous teams who managed to do it playing less games - congrats

It's almost like playing 3 extra games distorts statistics

I think you struck a nerve by simply stating a fact
