re: Alabama ELIMINATED | Nate Oats and his gimmick team fails again - no one is shocked

Why are people acting like Alabama was doing anything before Oats got there?
What he’s done at Bama is still greatness especially compared to what was there prior to him coming in lol

re: Top College Basketball Programs?
Posted by OStateBuck on 3/19/26 at 2:40 pm to captdalton
Since 2000 I would say Florida, Duke, Kentucky and most definitely UConn have to be there. I think UConn has like 5 since 1999 which is ridiculous lol.
I’m interested in top college football programs that are the best college basketball programs in history. I want to know the school with the best combination of both sports.
If someone doesn’t start that thread maybe I will.

makes no sense Oregon drops crazy money on football, Florida is the cheapest school in the country Oregon every coach Oregon hires wins tons of games there, Florida never hires winners
And yet Florida still has 3 National titles compared to Oregons’s 0 lol.
Florida is still the better program historically.

Cal, Syracuse and Maryland surprised me

What Cignetti did this year was nothing short of amazing, but putting him and Saban in the same breath is a bit premature to say the least. Let's see if Cignetti can go on a run and continuously rebuild Indiana year after year and then we'll talk
You don’t think there was any chance that he was joking? Lol
Indiana joins these schools with championships in football and basketball

UCLA, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Florida, Syracuse, Maryland, California, Arkansas, and Stanford.
(That’s actually way more schools than I thought)
UCLA: Holds numerous basketball titles and a football championship, known for undefeated seasons in both sports (football 1954; basketball perfect seasons 1964, 1967, 1972, 1973)
Florida: The only school with championships in both sports in the same year (2007), and multiple titles in each. (Beat Ohio State in both sports that year which sucked really bad lol)
Michigan State & Florida: The only schools with multiple championships in both football and basketball.
Indiana: One of only two schools (with UCLA) to have undefeated championship seasons in both football and men's basketball.

How can you be the worst playoff team ever if you actually won a game or two in the playoffs?

LSU averaged 550+ ypg and 50+ ppg and they did it against 7 top 10 teams, and 4 top 4 teams. You can't even compare Mendoza to what Burrow did. Burrow finished 2019 as the only player in history with 6,000+ yards and 65 touchdowns.
I wonder how many of those SEC teams were overrated as hell due to the SEC bias which greatly inflated their rankings lol
Oregon getting beat worse than they did against

Ohio State last year… damn!

There’s a difference between coaching a team to the playoffs and actually coaching in one.. jus sayin
re: Ole Miss has more Sugar Bowl victories than LSU

I think that LSU fans actually think this is their win so I wouldn’t put it past them to count it towards their record.
Sorry to get your hopes up buddy lol

re: LOL - Screw ESPN - They were dreaming of Carson Beck against Georgia
Posted by OStateBuck on 1/1/26 at 11:15 pm to Caimani
I can’t even imagine how shitty of a team you have to be to lose with the refs and the networks in your back pocket. Kirby is sooo overrated it’s not even funny anymore.
re: Ole Miss told Lane Kiffin to frick OFF!!!!

Indiana vs Ole Miss would be a fire arse Title game. Two teams that really don’t make any noise in college football would be great for the sport imo.

I’m just happy the networks won’t get their stupid “Carson Beck vs his old team storyline”
Refs are still trying to figure out a way to get Georgia the win
Posted by OStateBuck on 1/1/26 at 10:55 pm
After the game is already over Lol

re: Kirby Smart without 85 Top 100 players on the roster
Posted by OStateBuck on 1/1/26 at 10:52 pm to Rrrrroger
Kirby is who we all thought he was… just a regular arse coach that can $recruit$ while also receiving a lot of his crucial wins with the help of the refs
