I never wanted him gone.
A number of valid OSU posters on here gave me a lot of crap about it 6 weeks ago.
He connects well with the players, his players love him, he runs a good organization, he does a lot for the community, has no "known scandals" and now is a national champ.

That's all well and good, but lots of mediocre coaches have done this. Gene Chizik done it at Auburn, Les Miles at LSU, Coach O at LSU etc.
Only reason he got a chance this year is because of the shitty format.

It was a couple of months ago Day hired security for his home.
If he receives an offer to go somewhere else be it the NFL or another FBS school he will certainly weigh the pros and cons of staying with Ohio State and you have to think receiving death threats because Michigan has your number is a mighty big con.
