They're calling him Superman. Mr. Clutch. Rookie MVP. Mahomes 2.0

How the hell do you lose 7 games with this guy? Unbelievable.

LSU scored 23 points against a 5-7 A&M team with Jayden Daniels at QB, and lost by multiple scores. And one of their TDs was a garbage TD with seconds left.

Jayden Daniels much like Burrow was mediocre his first year in the SEC. The reason he lost in his second year was Matt House’s fault.

Most LSU fans won't admit it, and I said it when they hired him, that Brian Kelly is a very average coach. It just is what it is.

Look. It’s a legitimate question from the secR.

He was amazing while at LSU. He’s Amazing now.

I look back on that defense and shake my head. Not saying we would have won the whole thing. But it was a definite missed opportunity to be in the playoff.

How is it legitimate? Unless you are just coming out of your coma . Daniels did great . He won a Heisman because he was the best player. Daniels doesn’t play defense . Do you think that Brady would have won all those championships if the defenses on his teams were dead last? There’s your legitimate question!

Kliff Kingsbury is a better OC QB coach than whoever LSU had…..

KK coached Mahomes in college

I said it is a legit question for the rant.

What groundbreaking questions were you wanting from fans of programs that didn’t even win the conference?

LSU has two heisman winners recently and won a national title with one of them.

I’m okay with serious/not serious questions on this board.

Daniels turned around and handed it to his running backs all evening. They kept the ball and Detroit's offense on the sidelines. Controlling the game clock with actual running backs going downhill is still a novel concept to Kelly.

I don’t think lsu wins 5 games without him at QB two years ago. After watching him almost single handed beat us I knew he’d be a good NFL QB. He basically saved Kelly from being fired by now

LSU had the number 1 offense last year.

which is why it's odd, imo, for a college fan to boast about ex players in the NFL. I mean, it's great to be a fan of X player (Daniels in this case) but how did your team fare when he played.

Obviously, in the case of Daniels, his Arizona St and LSU teams weren't great. I don't know about Arizona St but a lot of LSU fans didn't want Daniels to return in 2023, but sure were glad by the end of the season, though I think they lost 4 games. He looked kind of average vs Alabama that year, which is the only game I watched him, but has certainly improved.
