It's 2 elite offenses (#3 and #7) vs 2 solid to average defenses (#32 and #76).

It's in the top 1/3 nationally and roughly middle of the pack for High Majors. So yea, average.

It's two teams who think beating the other will make them elite, but they are both just top 20 teams.

I don't know if this bama team will ever shoot as well as most people thought coming into the season.

Losing Wrightsell was a very big loss, especially with Youngblood still sputtering in getting back to his shooting numbers from prior years.

Aden has been very good, Mark has been getting back into form, but outside of those 2 we don't have any other really good outside shooters unless Youngblood gets back to form. Stevenson has been abysmal, which is a big problem.

You’ve only played 4 SEC games and you have the 76th ranked defense and you think that’s average.

Gaslighting yourself won’t make the inevitable disappointment any easier. Nate doesn’t coach defense. It is what it is.

Um, we aren't #76. We're #32. Kentucky is #76.

We've played the best group of offenses in the country per KenPom - mostly out of conference until today.

Finished #3 in defense in 2023 and #3 in 2021

Kentucky is really poor defensively, seems like those type of teams always lose in March against a hot shooting team. Giving up 100+ twice already at home is wild.

This is definitely typical Rant behavior.

When there are more than 152 teams in basketball.. then yes that would be considered better than average. I know math is hard for the Mississippi poorly educated.
