According to multiple reports. He interviewed a week ago and will be announced Tuesday.

That’s a weird move but he’s engaged to his second wife who is from OKC and he met while at Ok State

He’s already the highest paid DC and will have a title in 48 hours. Also, Venables might be gone after next year and pretty much is the DC at OU

Not sure I’ve seen a step down move like this after winning a title

Ohio State can pay him whatever he wants, but pu*sy is undefeated

I think a lot of coaches are unhappy at Ohio state. If they win the title I could see day stepping away.

Possible Knowles is preparing for that.

This is all clickbait. He is going nowhere. Why in the heck would you downgrade like that. He is one of the best in the business and just because his gf is from OKC doesn't mean anything.

I don’t think so. He apparently got death threats and people outside his home after the Michigan game and the fans have really pissed him off

Even the Ohio St board is worried and they said there is some smoke to it

OU can pay more than Penn St and Ohio St

Again, he wants to move back to Oklahoma. He’s no spring chicken

This is an outright lie.

He might go to OU, for any reason, but… it isn’t because OU can pay more than Ohio State.

The richest college football programs are led by Ohio State University, valued at approximately $1.32 billion, followed closely by the University of Texas at Austin at $1.28 billion and Texas A&M University at $1.26 billion.

These programs generate significant revenue primarily from football, with Ohio State reporting $280 million in revenue for 2023.

Apparently some haven't seen his side piece that lives near OKC. Even for old guys, it's undefeated.

Wondering if Day will make the jump to the NFL.

I think there's going to be some sort of exodus as well.

Boomer

Isn't Ohio St losing just about everyone good on defense next year? OU might have the best defense in the SEC.

Well the “Texas schedule is easy” crowd will be pleased if that happens..

Most of OU’s transfers were FCS players. Obviously they dropped a bag on Mateer. They seemed to spend their available NIL to lockdown current players and could not bring in more desired players.

What desired players? This portal was nowhere near as good as last year's portal. They got Matter and Marvin Jones Jr.

I guess OU desired mostly FCS players.

The guy is in his 70’s. If I’m in the Ohio State loop, I thank the guy for what he’s achieved, which is pretty impressive, and wish him the best. He’s not going to coach forever. I think OSU was paying him over 2 mil. Good luck to Knowles
