OU is probably going to have the best defense in the SEC next year. That's one thing Brent knows how to do. They were pretty good last year but should take another step this year. Marvin Jones Jr. picked OU over Texas in the portal. Somethings brewing.

Not with Denver Harris in your secondary, but by all means go for it. He might be the biggest head case I've ever seen, and that is no exaggeration.

He will never take a snap.
A lot of us are rather confused with the staff taking a chance on this guy. I'm aware of his potential but damn with his history, you'd think BV wouldn't touch him with a 6 foot pole. I guess BV decided SOUL mission wasn't working for them anymore.

Yep, and from what I’ve been told Ewers is going too. An oil booster is dumping money in their NIL. People take OU lightly and I don’t know why. They have been statistically and historically better than Texas. Won more games than Texas, had more heismans than Texas, have more people on the NFL than Texas and even beaten Texas arse like 90% of the time, and yet the Trant gives them shite.

tRant should give OU shite. We entered the conference with the worst teams we've seen since the 90's. Men's BB will be a laugher this year as well.

but man....he couldnt stay out of trouble at 2 different programs now. He will prolly not get the grades or do something in the locker room to never see the field.

Isn't there a rule about not being able to transfer to an SEC school in the Spring?

Outgoing Oklahoma and Texas players who enter the transfer portal this spring will not be immediately eligible if they transfer to an SEC school, an SEC spokesperson confirmed to 247Sports. The SEC's rules restrict intraconference transfer movement in football to athletes who enter during the NCAA's winter transfer portal window, which ran from Dec. 4 to Jan. 2. SEC players who enter outside those dates – unless they did so via the NCAA's exemptions for postseason play or a head coaching change — would not be eligible for the upcoming season if they chose to transfer to another school within the league.
Now, the rule also states if the team is in a bowl game they have 5 days to enter the portal after their bowl game.
