If Ewers doesn't go to the NFL or stay at Texas, here is where Vegas says he will end up:

Notre Dame needs to revamp their offense completely if they aren't going to have a QB who can handle 100+ carries

Seriously doubt he goes anywhere but NFL, but if he does I wish him the best; I'm looking forward to Arch Mania.

He only stayed this year to get over the 'mandatory' hump of twenty-five starts that's preferred by NFL scouts. That being said, he's, in my opinion, the best, QB prospect coming out of the draft this year.

Yeah, but how much money could he make from a one year NIL deal compared to what he would make in the NFL?

Bobby Burton, who is as plugged in as anyone to folks in the know at Texas, insists Ewers is going to the draft.
If he is wrong, there could be no juicier CFB story than Quinn going to Oklahoma.

Returning to Ohio State with the season opener vs Texas would better

I wish I could agree with you.
Cam Ward had 39 TDs with 7 INTs.
He seems like the best pic at QB.
Sanders is up there too.

Not only that, but the starting QB at a large university has a totally different fame profile than a backup NFL QB that may or may not make it. Going from “King” to the 40th most important guy on the team matters in how you’re treated by coaches, teammates, fans, etc.
Unless the NFL multiyear contract is going to be materially more than the college NIL salary, earning as much in college as possible and delaying the “can he cut it” NFL verdict is almost always the right answer (in other words guys who won’t go top 20ish).

All one has to do is see the Sam Darnold character arc this year to see the probable Quinn story.

It's not happening, his agent already said he's going pro. He'll mock as a second/ third round pick and then he'll shine during the passing drills on his pro day (scouts fell in love with him last year during the Texas pro day because he looks like a world beater throwing against air), ultimately pushing him into the first round.

poor Notre Dame. Better hope they have no great defenses on their schedule.
for the record I'm 99% sure he's going pro. It's just clickbait.

That makes no sense.
CJ Carr is heir apparent at QB with another talented kid in Minchey waiting in the wings.
Not that we wouldn’t take him as you’d never turn down a first round QB, but we have much more pressing needs in the portal, namely DT and WR.

I will say this in Quinn’s defense, 1/2 his ints have been on BS deflections that weren’t his fault and the oline did him no favors vs Georgia twice

Risk vs Reward doesn't make sense. Why stay in college for another year and potentially hurt your draft stock (which is high) to transfer to a new system and risk injury, when you can sign a 4 year deal making several million a year?
