***Had more starters than needed at d lineman and linebackers because it would depend on what defense you chose to run as to who would best fit the starting spots.

I feel like Tennessee could put together a pretty solid all-time lineup

And Bama since it all starts and ends at the QB position (Bart Starr).

Texas is better than this. The RB room alone, from 1-5 can’t be beat.

Who is throwing them the ball?

If Vince Young and Colt McCoy don’t do it for ya, how about Bobby Layne and James Street?

No Y.A Tittle at QB? No Tommy Casanova at DB? No Heisman winner Billy Cannon at RB? List seems lacking.
Are we going off just college careers or including pro?
LSU can put up a stacked roster no doubt, but a lot of other schools can too.
Just off the top of my head with no research, Florida has multiple Heisman winners at QB, Emmitt Smith at RB, countless WR's who were 6'+ and had blazing speed. I'm sure some UF fan could name plenty of defensive guys.

Be serious. Layne and street would get absolutely worked. That’s like me saying Steve Owen or Darryl Royal have an ice cubes chance in hell against modern players.

Not gonna go down this rabbit hole but on the surface, Whitworth and Trai Turner on OL, Dalton Hilliard at RB, Eric Martin at WR, Bert Jones at QB, Leonard Marshall at DL.

Bruh, no OBJ?
Hillard?
There are others, but these 2 are glaring.

Mississippi state would win at DL. That’s all I got.

We could throw something good together
Qb Mayfield and Murray
Rb Mixon and Peterson
Te Andrews and Watts
Wr Shephard, lamb, Mims jr
Ol Williams, loadholt, Humphrey, lane Johnson
Dl Selmon brothers, Mccoy, Casillas
Lb bosworth, Murray Jr, stutsman, lofton
S Everage and Williams
C strait and Franks (our weakest group)
Talent on offense would be way deeper. It's hypothetical, but would be fun to watch.
