Our coaches brought a team that looked like a middle school PE class to Oklahoma and got whipped... Squashing the hopes we had of making the playoffs.

Surely you mean Jalen Milroe, who scored more for Oklahoma (and would have won the game for them if it came down to it) than he did for us
If we had taken a knee every play, the score would've been more favorable than if Milroe played

To be fair weren’t they in even if they’d used the old BCS formula?

This will eventually be a minor league for the NFL. If the Broncos finish with a better record than the Colts, they get in. Doesn’t mattered who played the tougher schedule.

That argument isn't valid when you beat the hard teams and go 1-3 on the road and score 3 against 6-6 teams.

Oh I know, and I know Indiana’s schedule was caca, but a 1-loss Big 10 team was going to get into this thing even if strength of schedule was the top priority. Is what it is.

In the playoffs, NFL teams that play dogshit schedules and don't deserve to be there regularly get blown out by lower-seeded teams who played a tougher slate.
Eventually the pretenders get exposed, no matter what level.
