So who's winning the playoffs, boys?

Georgia appears to be the clear-cut answer, but upon closer inspection, they exhibit some of the same flaws as Alabama, having delivered lackluster performances against inferior opponents.
They narrowly defeated one of the worst teams in the league (Kentucky) and absolutely would have lost to Georgia Tech without those "favorable calls".
I'm not rooting for UGA by any means and would absolutely love to see them get dunked on by one of these shite programs but they SEEM like the safe bet. For now.

Oregon, Texas, Georgia, or Ohio State. In that order in my opinion.
Just follow the money and you'll find the talent.

Oregon, OSU, or Texas. Georgia doesn’t have a chance with Beck out.

Stockton is more athletically gifted than Beck but clearly they went with experience at QB. Not a wrong decision in my opinion but if Stockton can run the whole offense after several weeks of preparation, I really don't think their chances were diminished all that much. I'd still have them as 3rd most likely to win it.
Honestly, Georgia has a pretty damn easy path while Oregon has the hardest possible path where they're apt to play all of the other 4 most talented rosters in the field. They may be the 3rd best team but actually 1st or 2nd most likely to win it all by statistics. Oregon's quarterfinal is likely Ohio State, semifinal is likely Texas, and final likely Georgia. Holy shite they got dry fricked by the committee.

Man I just couldn't care less about this year. No teams are sexy in a way that elicits envy. Also, the portal/NIL have just wrecked the current vibe. Here's hoping the future has lots of changes and restrictions to it.

I still think it's going to be Ohio St. They've already throttled two playoff teams & damn near beat another on the road.

Notre Dame
Notre Dame

I think Oregon wins. Georgia is such a wildcard with backup QB

Stockton isn’t very good. Only completed one pass over 10 yards against Texas.

Don't stone me, but for the one and only time in my life I'm pulling for Notre Dame...only because of Riley Leonard.
They get Indiana...then potentially Georgia without their starting QB...then maybe Penn St in order to make the NC game. Could be lining up for them.
Yeah, Oregon got screwed as the #1 seed and Penn St must have fellatioed the entire committee.
I'm going Ohio St vs Notre Dame in the NC game with OSU winning it.

The two playoff teams they beat would be 7-5 in the SEC. They "throttled" Penn State by one touchdown? What about the four point win over Nebraska? Loss to Michigan? I'm unimpressed, seems like the same old Ohio State to me.

On paper, Georgia has the easiest path, but I do think Penn State could catch them off guard. Just depends on what team shows up
I would not be shocked to see Tennessee in the championship game fwiw. Oregon is bound to crumble at the slightest bit of real adversity

Hopefully one of these 2 teams...
Arizona State or Boise State
I wouldn't be too upset if
Tennessee won it from the SEC.

While I agree they are the lesser of two evils, I saw plenty of texts from TN folks with the script A in "Eliminated" when the playoff teams were announced. I'm looking forward to payback with the block T and sending that out. Plus, their overall athletic program has been hitting it out of the park too much lately. They need to be taken down a peg or two

I agree. Beck is more important than fans let on
