Napier will return next year, and personally I hope he works out long term.

What do you all think ?

Not sure about him. Lagway helped saved him but his play calling etc seems pretty suspect still. I guess we will see next season.

He was never getting fired regardless. It’s just a cherry on top that he got the team much better.

He was told that he needs to find an OC in the off season. A lot hinges on that and also on the talent we have in the locker room sticking around.

Future is bright with Florida, I am in pressed with Lagway but I think I’m even more excited about Baugh!!!

We have good momentum going into the offseason. Lagway + the turnaround on defense was big for Billy. We will see if he hires an OC and how the HS/Portal class finishes. Momentum is high right now, need to take full advantage of it.

The most important thing is his team seems to believe in him even after the rough start.

It's a good sign.

They played hard for the man the last half of the season.

Then again, could be Lagway inspiring his teamates.

He has done a good job landing Lagway and hiring Austin Armstrong as DC

Once those two are gone he’ll probably get fired because he’s not a good
Coach at all but does a few things really well like talent evaluation.

Defense is legit and recruiting is there. If he fires himself as OC and brings in a solid choice there, then I’ll be a believer. If he returns as OC, we cooked fam.

Gators are definitely a team on the rise. As for our fans, some of them will never be happy with Napier. We just beat our rival by 3 touchdowns, on the road with a depleted roster including an injured quarterback.

I was skeptical, but no longer. He is building the program the right way and for long term success. Remember when the knock on Florida was the culture was destroyed? He's rebuilt it, and the culture is our strength now.

Don't sleep on the Gators next season. They are legit.

Ive never wanted change just for change as a HC goes. List is very slim of proven HCs that we could pull so Im willing to let him ride it out after watching the teams improvement the last few weeks.

Its almost like having an injured FR QB making his first starts has an affect on playcalling..

lmao, cmon guys, really?
Im not crazy about some of his calls but lets not act like the QB situation didnt have a say in how the team operated on Offense
