Sat on top of their band in the Dome on 1-4-04. I heard that fricking song 1673837382 times (unofficially). Pretty sure they even played it as GOAT Saban lifted up the Crystal Ball.
One of those childhood memories that sticks with you.

This clip will be posted dozens of times this week. A small percentage of the number of times the band will play boomer sooner. The chicks makeup getting launched over a 10 yard area cracks me up every time.

I actually think OU’s fight song is great as is ATM’s. My favorite SEC song before we joined the was Rocky Top. Would love to be there to hear it as long as we win the game.

TBH, it can get old to Sooner fans when played over and over.
After a game in Stillwater when OU had to come from behind to beat the aggies Switzer awarded a game ball to the Pride for playing it nonstop during the 4th quarter.
OTOH, there are plenty of other school's songs that irritate me.
I hate hearing that little thing the USC band plays throughout their games.
I can stand "Eyes of Texas" only because I sing the version I came up with myself.
"Rocky Top" gets overplayed.
I haven't committed the rest of the SEC school songs to memory yet so I don't know which ones I will tire just yet.

Well when you use 17 discreet unique words in your fight song you know the quality of education these people hand out. Then you mix in playing it as many times as listed.
Just remember
Boomer = Squatter
Sooner = Cheater
It will help when you realize they are celebrating being dirty filthy cheaters and proud of it.

Me too and I went to school there. Ought to be a state law that Boomer Sooner can only be played five times per game. The only one worse is the Texas fight song.

Now that we are in the SEC you will hear it. And hear it. And hear it. It’s just Boola Boola with different words. I’ve been hearing it since birth. I think the therapy is starting to pay off though.
